Four decorated eggs made from pecan wood

I made four decorated eggs from Pecan wood. I used a plan by Bonnie Klein.

The band saw and mesquite wood got me yesterday.

I was relying on push sticks and that was not enough. I have a device I can tie the wood on and I will use that in the future and wear gloves. It was an end cut. This mesquite wood is so hard, the end cut is not possible unless securely tied to a device. Side cuts, I always use the device to secure the piece I am cutting on the bandsaw.

New mesquite bowls and the saw dust from turning 2 of them. The beeswax and orange oil bring out the colors.
