I made this box from scrap mesquite wood that I was given. I was ready to throw it away and Linda persuaded me to try to work with it. She likes the look. I have six more chunks to make over a period of time.

Linda did very well with some recent quilts she made at the New Mexico Southern State Fair. She won multiple ribbons on many of her pieces in the categories of Best Machine Quilting, Stationary Machine; Best Art Quilt; 1st Place, Best of Lot. They are very attractive quilts. Good job Linda. Gary

This is a bud vase made from Pinion wood. The worm holes are an included feature. I did some spiral carving. Just started this new skill set. Not sure if I will continue it.

Here is a poem I have recorded regarding playing bridge.
I made a new pecan bowl. While attempting to make another one, my nice Oneway screw chuck broke off. I have decided to give up on pecan wood. It is just too hard to turn. Close to the hardest I have turned.
